Meet the Team

Michelle Lawrence-Sinko

Michelle moved to North Costa Blanca from London in the Summer of 2015 with her husband. They both wanted a quieter life away from the fast pace of London and fell in love with the area when they first visited in Feb 2015. Michelle was previously the treasurer of her local ward committee in London and thoroughly enjoyed helping people in her area. Michelle comes from a ‘large family’ and is one of 6 children and has many nieces and nephews, so has a wealth of experience with dealing with family matters. She has completed her first level of counselling and is a qualified Reiki healer. Helping others gives Michelle great satisfaction and she relishes having the opportunity to be part of such a great charity.

Tracy

Hello, I’m Tracy. I’ve been the treasurer for Guardian Angels for 7 years now. Since retiring I happily split my time between the Solent in the UK, and Javea.

I spent 37 long years doing various jobs for Lloyds Bank across the South of England, so now is my time to enjoy life, sun, travel & padel tennis!

It is really rewarding to know the Guardian Angels team are providing a support network for single parents, and their children, across the Marina Alta area. When  finding themselves in difficult situations, knowing they have someone to speak to & not feel alone. Long may this continue😇😇

Mark Richards

Mark Jonathon Richards is the Vice President of Guardian Angels, a charitable organisation supporting single parents across the Costa Blanca. A long-time advocate for community support initiatives, Mark plays an active role in overseeing the charity’s operations, outreach campaigns, and strategic growth.

Originally from Oxford, UK, Mark built his career in the hospitality and marketing industries. After managing some of Oxfordshire’s most popular venues, he went on to become an area manager and later a marketing director, specialising in revitalising hospitality businesses. His extensive training in public engagement, communication, and operational management has made him a vital asset to the Guardian Angels team.

In 2020, Mark founded ACE Soluciones, a business-to-business consultancy based in Moraira, offering marketing, creative, and management services to clients both locally and internationally. His professional insight, paired with a personal commitment to improving lives, drives his work with Guardian Angels. With the help of the entire team we strive to modernise the organisation with the goal of helping as many families as possible.

Joey

I’m Joey from Kids Parties Javea, and I’m proud to support Guardian Angels as Head of Internal Events. With years of experience running my own children’s party business, I love bringing joy to families through fun and memorable events. I organise the summer and Christmas parties for our Guardian Angels families, which are such an important way to bring everyone together. These gatherings help create lasting memories and new friendships—for both the parents and the children—which is what makes them truly special.

Amanda

Amanda is a very experienced and qualified Therapist and Counsellor and a member of the ACCPH.

Amanda is also a fully bi-lingual Spanish English speaker. As a singer and actress, she has spent many years supporting local charities in theatrical productions also offering therapy and counselling to those in need of a kind, listening ear. She also works as an A level Psychology teacher here on the Costa Blanca and is very much a people person with a wealth of experience of working with people both young and old
